Well, it certainly has been a while since we wrote a blog but we have been rolling! In the last 6 weeks, we have visited Florida and stirred up two Chapters there, we went to Nashville and had over 50 women show up to experience the G.R.I.T.S., and a big group of us attended the Southern Side x Side at Deep River Sporting Clays in North Carolina!
The outcome of all this time on the road is we now have the original G.R.I.T.S. chapter in Central Virginia, the Piedmont G.R.I.T.S. in the Middleburg area, the Nashville G.R.I.T.S. in yes, the Nashville area, the Gulf Coast G.R.I.T.S. on the western coast of Florida and the east coast Florida G.R.I.T.S. are coming along.
We are setting our sights on launching 4 more G.R.I.T.S. chapters this summer so far! We are headed to North Carolina to Drake Landing and launching a chapter for North Carolina. Drake Landing has been very supportive of our efforts to draw more women into the shotgun sports.
Our next stop will be to launch a group in Kentucky at Elk Creek Sporting Clays, another big G.R.I.T.S. supporter, July 11th. On July 26th we head to Maryland to launch a group at First Mine Run. Also on the list is the New England area based out of Dover Furnace. We will be posting all of these events on our calendar and sending an email blast as well.
Our shopping cart is almost launched and we are adding new things daily! Stay tuned, we are definitely up and running!
